Martinex1: I am tired. I feel like Bruce Banner after wandering in the wilderness for seven days as the Hulk.
We are taking a Sunday break before kicking off a week of some things new and completely different.
This past week we of course covered the green goliath extensively. Take a look back if you missed any of the conversations.
This past Friday, believe it or not, was our one-hundredth post here on BITBA. It is hard to believe that we've already hit that milestone.
In the coming months, we plan on sharing more fun concepts, reviews, and conversations. So tune in regularly. And if you have an idea for a guest post or just a suggestion for discussion contact us at
backinthebronzeage@gmail.com. And always feel free to share suggestions and recommendations in the comments every Sunday.
Redartz: And speaking of new concepts, here's one to ponder: Within the next few weeks, we will debut a new topic header called "Show and Tell". And it will be just what it sounds like: a chance for everyone to show off some of their treasures! A number of commenters have expressed a wish for a way to include photos in the comments, so here's the next best thing. We will give you the topic, in the case of our first edition: Original Art (pages, drawings or sketches you have from a favored artist). There will be at least two weeks until the post appears, giving you fine folks a chance to take a photo or two, and send it to us via the above email address with any comments you have. We will compile the results, and present everyone's images in the post at the appropriate time. At least that is the plan; never let it be said that we here at BitBA aren't willing to try something different! RECOMMENDATIONS:
Music: In the 1980s, a band from Marietta, Georgia emerged as a college listening favorite.
Guadalcanal Diary with their album
Walking in the Shadow of the Big Man had some entertaining tracks like "Trail of Tears," "Watusi Rodeo" and "Kum-Ba-Yah." With Murray Attaway (vocals, guitar), Jeff Walls (guitar), Rhett Crowe (bass), and John Poe (drums) - the band was tight and creative with their fast paced jangle. The album was produced by Don Dixon. 3.5 Bronze Medallions.
Just the one recommendation today - please add your own! Any category is fair game: Music, Movies, TV, Books, Comic, and Food. Cheers all!
