After coming off of a bad deal with Timberland, she has finally released an EP. The tunes seem to be about a past relationship, she goes through the emotions of pain and pleasure . The EP is mellow and something to chill to when you want to relax. My favorite song is “Part Time Lovers”, which samples “Who Can I Run To” by Xscape. I’m looking forward to hearing more from her. Coming off of the success of “Bodak Yellow” , “Bartier Cardi” and other features , Cardi teases us with a new single from her debut album “Invasion Of Privacy” . Which she announced a April 6 release date on her Instagram page. The new single is the plea of a lover dealing with infidelities , giving her lover a warning that her heart is fragile . The song sounds like a form of a Dear John letter if her lover keeps messing up . I think it’s different for Cardi , especially capitalizing off of recent allegations of her fiancé cheating and seeing his child’s mother .
Being a new NBA Youngboy fan with his recent legal troubles and inability to release music , I was happy that he was featured on this song called “Ride” after countless promises of music releases. The song is from Birdman’s new film about the start of Cash Money. Him and Birdman have also been teasing a new mixtape . Youngboy describes his life in the hood and how he had to survive to get to where he is today. Honestly , if you didn’t know he was 18 you would swear he was 30 his stories take you inside the scene . He’s very talented and hopefully his career will go far..
I honestly love Tyler The Creator in his rappity rap pocket . In the song he repeats about how he loss some friends , which fuels rumors of the Odd Future crew being over. It seems he’s in a better place and he even mentions his Grammy nomination , which was well deserved . I appreciate his random music dropping along with a video.
Guapdad dropped this song on SoundCloud . I love his tone over these type of carefree beats . It’s like he’s telling a story of hood living but you can definately dance to it . I love his movement and his story is dope, check out the song at the link below..
