James Serino - —a young, edgy fashion designer from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. His love for all-things-fashion led him to Ottawa where he was hired as a visual merchandiser and manager by trendy, well-established retail chains. Styling shop displays inspired him to pursue fashion design. He graduated from Montreal'’s Academy of Design and Technology, and quickly became recognized for his flare and talent in the city. He began creating custom-made designs for various private clients, and showcased his creations in the Montreal Fashion Week. He then became the head designer for Historia, a Quebec-based fashion brand that provided dressy, ready-to-wear garments for men and women. He eventually took over head designer duties at H62, Historia’'s more casual line, before exploring the world of home decor as a textile designer for Lawrence Home Fashion. Serino moved to Vancouver to create his own fashion line, claiming that the relaxed atmosphere has allowed him to focus on his new signature line of men’s casual wear. Serino debut his first clothing collection "Electric La-La-Land" in the event Evolution a Fashion | Music | & Vogue Ball in Vancouver, Canada on Feb 12, 2011. The collection was shown again in Paris, France on March 11, 2011 at the event Gala International Des Arts Urban. This has turned out to be quite the year thus far for the designer, who handcrafts his garments
