My World this Week

I didn't think I'd have time to post a My World this Week.  With garden work calling and storms taking out my Internet, it has not been conducive this past few days to getting online.

So here is just a quick peek at my world through the lens of a camera this week.

Cooking

Strawberries cut and ready to pop in the freezer for an hour (or three if one forgets) before placing into freezer bags.

She seems to find her way in a lot of photos.  I never realized I hadn't shown the kitchen and family room from this angle.  The TV is on the other side of the stove with a low wall between them.

Which is why I can listen to a program while cooking.  ;)

Tweaking the Study Bulletin Board

I hadn't changed the bulletin board in over two years.  That calendar page in the middle is the sweet chapel where Stephanie and her Hubby were married.

That's my favorite photo of my own wedding to the left.  I don't know if one can see that the groom has rather long-ish hair and Elvis sideburns.  After all, it was the 1970s! Wow he was handsome.  Wow... I was young.

Hubby looked so much like Harrison Ford at one time that he would get stopped in airports when he traveled on business.  He never pretended to be Harrison, though.  I tell him Harrison has a better makeup man these days.  ;)

Her Fluffiness

The window is open, the breeze is flowing, she looks so regal...  No, I do not prepare food on the little kitchen island.  Yes, I do wash it.  But having company in the kitchen is worth it all.  ;)
