Thanksgiving. A Time to Reflect on This Country of Ours, & Say Thank You, Dear Lord

it's not at all about setting a beautiful table.

you can do that anytime.

it's about being grateful we live in the United States of America.

it's called THANKSGIVING for a reason.

& in typical American fashion, we play football, watch football, have a feast with family & friends,

drink wine, cocktails, or beer.

but, do we actually say THANKS ?

do we bow our heads & join in prayer all around the table for the common bond of

living in this amazing, complicated country of ours?

do we say "thank you, George Washington."

do we remember the sacrifices so many have made to make American FREE,

all of the wars, all of the civil insurrection?

this year, let's do that, please.

this year, more than ever before, we need prayers for our country.

reach out & help a stranger, no matter the circumstances.

it will go a long way if millions of us do this.

now, have a blessed day and toast to the USA !
